Tablet pressing

Tablet pressing for listed medicines and supplements

DB Pharmaceuticals presses tablets for listed medicines, vitamins and supplements at our TGA GMP licensed facility in Kings Park, Sydney. We blend, press and pack in one site, with blister or bottle packing and labelling in-house. We specialise in small to medium runs, with large runs available. This work is carried out under our TGA GMP licence, covering full product manufacture, including release for supply, with physical testing.

How tablet pressing works at DB Pharmaceuticals

  1. Formulation review. We assess your formula for compression: flow, binding and tablet size.

  2. Blending. Ingredients are dispensed and blended to specification.

  3. Compression. The blend is pressed into tablets, with in-process checks on weight, hardness and appearance.

  4. Packing. Tablets are blister packed or bottled, labelled and cartoned in-house.

  5. Physical testing and release. Each batch is documented, physically tested and released for supply through our quality system.
